It's been one week since I launched my new site on Ghost. The past few months I've been working diligently to get all of my content migrated from WordPress (it's been 10+ years!), but I'm still not done. Focusing on only the most important stuff first. Here's a detailed rundown of what I've been up to the past month:
Site & Work Updates:
- Launched my new site. Migrating my back catalog of digital and physical products. Digital products are live, working on the rest.
- Tweaking the design. Ghost has its quirks, but I’m figuring it out. New: Added specific templates for Books and Products.
- Added a Now page. You're reading it! A space for quick updates and news.
- Sent my first newsletter on Ghost. Welcome, new members!
Life Updates:
- Celebrated 6 years with Cara. Pizza, synth documentaries, and good vibes.
Currently Into:
- Reading: Beyond Anxiety (Martha Beck), Quantum Hillbilly (Renee Garcia).
- Watching: Chimp Crazy, The Tale, Artem & Eva, Verified Couple, Eden Lake, Speak No Evil, Men, Jasper Mall, Telemarketers.
- Listening: Dungeon Synth, Liminal Ambient, Red Light Expose podcast.
- Music Gear: Thinking about my first hardware synth. Cara’s loving her new Korg Minilogue XD. I'm eyeing the Arturia Minifreak.
What's Next:
- Finishing merch migration. Building a Tools page. Adding sortable filters to the shop & porfolio pages and improving the experience for paid members with a premium content area.
